Zongxing Wang, Ph.D./MBA is currently a venture partner at Tycoon Venture Partners. In this role, he handles technology and business assessment,
strategy formulation, and investment decisions.
Prior to joining Tycoon VP, Zongxing Wang worked at ARCH Venture Partners to help source deals and evaluate investment opportunities.
He also has experience working with a unicorn startup called Magic Leap, to help research and develop its first commercial product – Magic Leap 1.
Dr. Wang has experience building startups as well. He successfully founded Neukit Corporation to commercialize a drug delivery particle and
generated significant returns for his business partners. He won several awards for technology invention and commercialization, including SBIR
grants from NIH and awards from philanthropy.
Zongxing earned his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School
of Business.
Zongxing is deeply passionate about commercializing technologies, especially those that bring profound social impacts and improve people’s lives.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with his family.
